So on top of the $800 in car repairs, $400 in medical bills, $100 in dental bills (estimated), and Christmas shopping.......now our hottub stoppped working and will cost at least $600 to fix. Bummed. If we don't fix it now it would freeze and be completely ruined....so I guess we need to come up with that money too now. Whine whine whine......hoping 2010 will bring a few less unexpected bills.
Can't stop the money leak :(

But cant you drain it then move it somewhere where it will not freeze (heated garage or heated storage unit) so you dont have to come up with $600 to fix it right now?
Do you use the hot tub alot? Is it worth fixing or will you be spending money to fix something you hardly use?

Not trying to harp on you, but there should have been a few bucks to use on it from a budget envelope.

CouponAddict - Yes we use the hot tub a lot. We are very frugal and that is one of our main sources of entertainment. We live in the Midwest and it is wonderful to have a hot tub in the winter!
