    Was the coupon good for just one pen? The gas spent getting there was probably more than the dollar you saved, no?

    I wandered into Target today to kill some time and they were giving away apples! I walked out with two free Pink Lady apples, my favorite. That was a total accident though; your savings took some strategy and smarts. Smile

    Nice going... it's always a bonus when coupons lead to some insurance of significant savings like that. How did you get the bread coupon in the mail, was it a circular or did you have to register for it?
    @ceejay74 - I like Pink Lady apples, and Braeburns as well. They had Braeburns on sale the other day and my daughters went through the bag I bought in about three days, max. Smile Jerry

    Claudia - No it was for a bag of 10 pens. We were already at the mall to get a house warming gift for a friend, so no extra gas used. I was actually saving those coupons until the next time I needed to go to Target.
    Jerry - I have been getting a lot of coupons for FREE items in the mail from Target. This was actually my 3rd one, and I have a few friends that have gotten them as well. I think it is just because our Target was recently remodeled and added a bigger grocery section.
