I don't normally shop at Family Dollar. I had a bad customer service experience there once and it really turned me off from them. But today I stopped in there on my way home to get a bottle of Dawn that was a good deal.

I think I may try to look at shopping there more cause I saw a lot of things that I would normally buy at Target for $2-$3 that they have for $1.00.

    You got a terrific deal on the Dawn. Sadly we're all seeing more poor customer service as those who passed through the school system whose focus was on self esteem has graduated young adults with inflated egos and self importance. I've often felt that customers waiting to pay for merchandise were an inconvenience for clerks talking to friends on the phone.

    Ideally we'd wait and talk to the store manager about a customer service problem but who has time?
