4 Possible Roomates!

I finally put pics of my basement up on FB and I have 4 people already that want to come look at it! YEAH! So the one that is most promising is a good friend of my BF. They play on the same bball and softball team. He is very nice and laid back and doesn't drink at all, he also owns his own business and travels a lot for that, so I think this could be a great fit! He is coming tomorrow to see it, fingers crossed!

    That's exciting! How will current boyfriend handle you having a male roommate? If it were me, I would avoid that scenario.

    I wouldn't feel comfortable having a male roommate. Aren't you worried it is asking for trouble in your relationship with your boyfriend? Not to mention your personal safety, since you are not the one who has known him for a long time personally?

    I don't know, I think males are less crazy (generally) than females. And honestly, a mature relationship shouldn't be bothered by a male roommate, so I wouldn't worry about that aspect. It isn't any different IMO than living with a male relative, like a BIL or cousin.

    I agree with Lena, I wouldn't see a problem with having a male roommate. My DH had a female roommate for five years before we got married. She ended up being a good friend of mine. I'd still probably check in with the BF about it, but seems like you probably already have if it's a friend of his.

    Hmmm.....not sure if everyone saw in my post.....he is my BFs friend! My BF is actually the one that suggested him! LOL So no, he does not have a problem with me having a male roommate.

    And yes I agree, males are less CRAZY!!

    Obviously if I was concerned for my personal safety with someone, I would not allow them to move in.....he is a good friend of BFs and I feel I can trust him to respect me and my home.
