$200 Wellness Reimbursement

Reminder! - If your work or insurance offers any type of reimbursement accounts (FSA, etc.) or wellness incentives, etc. Be sure to get those in before deadlines!

I just submitted for my $200 wellness money, that covers 8 months of my gym membership!!

    we're eligible to collect up to $250 in wellness incentives, but you earn it as you go thruout the year to various doc appointments. You have to have them sign a brief form attesting to the exam.

    Do you mean your FSA is a wellness incentive or the gym is? I haven't heard of this benefit I don't think.

    LittleMiss - Just a reminder for any type of FSA OR wellness programs. My job provides a separate $200 that you can use for nearly any type of wellness items/fees (gym memberships, excercise equipment, classes, Wii games that are fitness related, etc.). I chose to use the $200 to get reimbursed for my gym fees, but could have used for a number of different items.

    Oh now I understand what you mean. My employer just made a deal with some of the larger gyms in the area that if we show proof of employment our membership fees are discounted each month. I just did the math on that discount and its a $240 savings per year so I guess this is their version of a wellness incentive =)
