We leave for vacation in 5 days! I am so excited!!
In standard Banker Gurl style I am doing what I can to get free/discounted items lined up to spend as little as possible on our trip.
We are flying to Laughlin, NV and while we are there we will take a rental car to Vegas for one night and then drive back to Laughlin the next day and fly home. Total trip is 5 days.
*Free flights for both of us to Laughlin
*Free rooms at Harrah's while we are in Laughlin
*$15 GC for Starbucks (Gift)
*$25 GC for Olive Garden (Gift, using this for lunch in the city we are flying out of before we get on the plane)
*$25 GC for Avis Rental Car (Redeemed from my Citi Card Rewards)
*$50 GC for Bubba Gump Shrimp (Redeemed from my Discover Rewards)
*$50 GC for Outback Steakhouse (Redeemed from my Discover Rewards)
*Free Rooms at The D while we are in Vegas
*Comped food at several places in addition to the GCs we are bringing, so we shouldn't have to spend much of anything on food while we are there. I am shooting for under $100 for the whole 5 days.
*$445 in free slot play between the different casinos!
So between comps and GCs we are bringing, the only thing we should have to pay for is possibly a small amount of food, the balance on the rental car (about $50), tips and gambling.
Our goal for our gambling money will be to bring home 50% of what we take (we are gamblers and we are not delusional...lol), but hoping to keep up our winning streak and come home ahead again!!
Getting ready for vacation! Comps and Giftcards!

I have never stayed at The D before, but I have played in their casino and it was my favorite one on Fremont Street! It is very nice and new and has a great atmosphere!
As far as the free slot play, it depends on the casino and what their system is, but most of them load the free play on your players card, and then you choose a slot machine, put the card into the machine to load the play onto the machine and then you play it and if you win you can cash it out as real money. Different casinos have different systems for free play, but that is the most common way to receive/use it.
