Has anyone else checked out jet.com? It is supposed to be a site where you can get big savings on everything from toilet paper to TVs. I had seen commercials for it, but didn't check it out till today when I got a flyer in the mail for $15 off a $50 purchase. I browsed the site, mostly for the kinds of items I resell (HBA) since I am most familiar with price points for those items. Everything seemed to be about the same as Target prices....has anyone else used this site or had thoughts on their prices? The only item I found for cheaper then I could get buying locally was Beneful Dry Dog Food. MO is the one that buys that, and he said he pays $15+ per bag, it was $13.35 on the website. On the site, the more you buy, the more you save (I am not sure what the equation is for that), so I got an extra $1+ off for buying 4 bags, I used the $15 off $50, and also got free shipping. So for 4 bags of 15.5lb Beneful it came to $37.05, $9.26 per bag! So we saved over $6 per bag which is a great deal for a product we need, but without the flyer/coupon prob wouldn't have ordered from them.

The city I live in currently has 3 grocery stores. 2 of them are just one store each, the 3rd has 3 locations and is building a 4th, they also have another location in the next city just 7 miles away. We also have 2 Walmarts that have full grocery areas, as well as a Target that has a good amount of groceries.
The large chain store seems to have more expensive groceries, so we always went to store #1 for our primary shopping, as they seemed to have a lower prices, and then I would scout deals from the other stores. Now the chain store is buying that location. So they will have 6 locations in 2 cities. And that only leaves us with store #2, Walmart and Target. I don't usually ever shop at Walmart or Target, especially not for groceries. It's just too hectic (especially at Walmart), lines are outrageous(Walmart) and I have heard a lot of horror stories about the produce (Walmart again...). Also DH prefers to shop local if at all possible.
So yesterday we went to store #2 for some deals, all items with coupons from their add and some manufacturer coupons. My total was $56, after coupons it was $36. Was happy with the deals, but then yesterday I looked through my receipt and looks like at least 2 of the coupons scanned and then said "items not purchased" so didn't take off the coupons. Took my receipt in and they quickly refunded me $4, taking my total down to $32.

I picked up a few things for Thanksgiving dessert and went to use some coupons I got in the mail.

-When I get these I usually try to find something for $10 so I get it for free, but after doing the clothes inventory of my room, I have sooooo much socks and gloves and things that would be $10 or so. I tried on a few shirts, and ended up finding some yoga capris. I go through these pretty frequently cause I wear them working out and can also wear them to work. I found a pair for $20, and then had my $10 coupon so that was a good price. Then when I checked out, they rang up on clearance for $14! So after my coupon got them for $4! YEAH!

I also had a coupon for a free sample of See's Candy. I went to the stand in the mall and got 2 for free, one for me and one for DH.

I needed a gift bag for my bro's BD present, so stopped at the Dollar Store and got 9 bags, 2 Wedding, 2 Baby, and 5 BD. That way I will be stocked up for awhile.

It's my favorite week at CVS! Tons of Free stuff and even a few moneymakers! 60 items for Free or Money Makers! Plus I had 2, $10 off $50 coupons that I used. I got $261.79 worth of merchandise and came out $20.77 ahead! So I got paid $20.77 to take it all home!!
