MO and I went to town yesterday to run a bunch of errands and had a very productive day!
First we went to Lowes and got blinds for our bathroom (for the last year we have been living with a tension rod with a towel hanging over it...) as well as some lightbulbs for the basement. We had $75 in gift cards from last Christmas for Lowes so that covered all but about $30 of the bill. MO put the blinds up as soon as we got home and they look great!!

Next we hit the thrift store as we are both in need of some new pants. I found a pair of "like new" Maurice's Jeans for $10! This retail for $60+ so I was excited! MO didn't find any pants, but he did find some very nice shoes for work for $10 which was also a great deal!
Then we went to Scheel's as my work offers $200 per year for wellness that you can purchase wellness items and submit for reimbursement. We already have a treadmill and an elliptical and didn't really need anything but didn't want to waste the free $200, so w got a punching bag set that includes a set of gloves, a pullup bar, ab wheel, perfect pushup handle, 3 set of kettlebells, which left $14 remaining, so I grabbed a $14.99 resistance band. That's a lot of Free loot!!!! While we were there we also got one of my Bros BD and Christmas presents.

Then we stopped at Barnes and Noble there is a THM cookbook I wanted and I had $15 in gift cards for there so I used that and paid the $15 balance OOP.
Finally went and got BD and Christmas gifts for my niece and nephew so they are done for Christmas. I think I have about 30% of my gifts done.
Ended with my nieces BD party and some family time, very good and relatively cheap day between the gift cards and wellness reimbursement!
Today we are relaxing with football and getting some more laundry/cleaning done before Thanksgiving! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

We took another trip to Vegas at the beginning of Nov and our luck finally ran out! We didn't come home ahead this time but still had a lot of fun. We also secured Diamond status on our Players Card so will have the free flights, food, hotel rooms, etc. for 2017 as well as our resort fees waived. MO started coaching basketball today, so we wont have any more casino or vaca until March.
We unpacked the last 10 boxes or so from our move last Sept. So now we are completely 100% unpacked, no more misc boxes of junk!
Still working lots of OT and between that and getting cleaning done for hosting Thanksgiving next week I am staying very busy.

It's our low update week, just $358.00 paid off in the last 2 weeks.
I finally got my garage cleaned back out after the rummage sale, what a good feeling to have a completely cleaned out garage! FB sales have been going great and very busy.

We had this amazing win on Saturday night at the casino! We came home for the evening up $640! I gave $40 to MO for fun money and put the rest in savings.

Each of the little lanterns is a credit amount I won, and the denomination I was playing was nickels, so for example the first lantern in the left upper corner says 50 so that paid me $2.50 (50 credit x .05 cents)so each of the lanterns would get taken by .05 to show how much I won. If you add up all the lanterns with denominations it equals $16.25. Then the one that says Mini won me $50.00. The total on the top of the screen is the denomination lanterns plus the Mini lantern ($16.25 + $50.00 = $66.25). Then the Major Jackpot Lantern paid me $966.90!!! You can see down on the bottom right hand it says I won 20,663 nickels = $1033.15!!!!! So exciting! I only put $60 in this game!
Also every time we gamble on anything (casino, Bingo, sports pools, pull tabs, etc.) I always mark it down whether we won or loss, and how much, to make sure we aren't spending too much on gambling. With this win we are now ahead for the year of 2016 by $390!! That is pretty awesome for 2 people who love to gamble and whose main/preferred entertainment is going to the casino! Plus that includes 2 trips to Vegas this year and also 2 other trips out of state as well! Love getting paid to have fun!!
Current Balance $7,965.00

We received a $500 heating repair bill from last October when we bought our house! Can you believe that! We live in a small community and nearly all of the repair places of any kind are home based businesses....apparently the heating repair person accidentally stuck our invoice in the back of their log book and forgot about it....so we just got it now...ugh. On the plus side we got a year no interest on the bill.....just stinks to get an unexpected bill. On the same note, we replaced an AC unit in my old house, Rental #2, in August 2015 and we still haven't gotten the bill for that either.
Should be back over $8K next week.
Current Balance $8,370.00

Now that the rummage sale is over I am focusing on getting my remaining sales inventory organized in my "Store" and packed and labeled nicely for future sales. I am also back on my FB sales, posted 2 different items for sale last night (have multiples of each of them) and sold 39 items for $81.00!! 14 items (adult coloring books) I paid .99 for and sold for $4.00 each. 25 items (cute kids magnet pages) I paid .29 for and sold for $1.00 each. Can't wait to get back into a regular rotation on sales of posting 2-3 different items each day to keep a nice flow to savings. Need to get back into couponing too to get more deals!
Finally got OT back at work, I don't know how long it will last so I am working as much as I can now before they take it away again. I worked 10hrs OT last week, 15 hours this week and plan to do 15 again next week. That will definitely help with upcoming winter/Christmas bills.
I am thinking about doing a crazy stretch goal......I would really like to payoff Mom Loan #2 by 6/19/17. That is my and MO's 2 year debt racing anniversary for when we added his debts to my mortgage and started tracking them together. The loan is currently at $25,224.10, with our normal payments ($600*8 months) the balance would go down about $4400 by then to $20,800.00. we currently have a hair over $8K in savings, so if things kept even, we would need at least $13,000. That is doable....but just barely and without having to take much out of savings between then and now. I told MO my plan and he seemed a little leery...then a few hrs later he came up to me with a piece of paper and some number crunching he had done to show how we could make it . It will be super important that we drastically curb eating out and casino if we want to make this goal. This would also help our waistlines. Cheers to goals!!
I would have paid another $35.00 to My Mortgage to get to the next even amount, but since we are wanting to do this stretch goal, I just put an extra $35 in savings for the Mom Loan instead
Celebrations for this update:
-Total debt went down $1345.26 in the last 2 weeks!
-My Mortgage went under the next $1000 mark!
-Bad Debt (Store Loan and Mom Loan) went under the next $1000 mark!
-Total debt went under $530K!

MO had to go pick up our puppies from his Mom's house since she was pet sitting while we were on vaca. She lived about 10 mins from a casino so MO stopped in there on his way and used only the freeplay they offer, he turned $40 in freeplay into $25 in real money!
MO also bet on a Vikings game while we were in Vegas and I mailed the winning ticket in today, once that gets here we will have another $38 for savings!
Current Balance $7,920.00
+$100.00 Leftover from Vegas
+$25.00 Freeplay win
+$50.00 My Payday to Our Savings
+$50.00 My Payday to Mom Loan Savings

We are back from our quicktrip to Vegas. We had a great time and 1 of the other couples we were with snuck off and had a surprise wedding! Just the 2 of them, then had it planned in secret for months apparently! So sweet!
We did awesome on gambling and after gambling straight for about 2 1/2 days we came out $350 ahead! We also earned enough points on our Total Rewards Players Card (Caesar Entertainment Properties like Harrahs, Caesars Palace, The Linq, etc.) to earn Platinum status for 2017 which means we will continue to get free flights, free rooms, free play money, free food, etc. for all of 2017! The benefits alone are worth thousands of dollars in comps to us, so to have them and get paid for doing it is sweet!
We used the $350 we came home ahead to payoff our only non-racing debt, we had borrowed about $1000 from our paid off HELOC when we bought the Jeep, and had been paying off about $100 a month on that. So we used the winnings plus a little extra to pay that off in full!
So excited that we came home ahead and were able to reimburse all gambling money to savings that we took out for the trip (flight, hotel, drinks and most food was comped).
Rummage Sale - Last weekend the rummage sale made $2056.10 total. The total for MO and I was $515.10 which we put into savings. This weekend when we were in Vegas my Mom came and opened the rummage sale while we were on vaca and made about another $1200, $220ish for me and MO, so about $735.00 total for us. Not bad considering we had crappy weather last weekend and again we only have about 3000 people in our small town. Also I didn't do any snacks, last year for snacks in my home town I made over $1000 just on the snacks (I am sure I wouldn't even break $100 here) so that was a big difference too. Overall I am happy for the extra $700 in savings and a lot less items in my rummage sale inventory!
OT
We FINALLY got an email at work for some OT, after about 10 months of no OT. YES! Unfortunately I already had Monday off this week for Vegas, so most of my OT will only be paid at straight time, and not time and a half, but it's still extra money! I am not sure how long this will last so I am going to get in as many hours as I can. I am hoping to do 15 hrs next week.
Current Balance $7,320.00
+$600.00 Rental #2
Balance $7,920.00
Local Savings $2805.00
GC Savings $2295.00
Capital 360 Savings (US) $1010.00
Capital 360 Savings (Mom Loan Payback Account)$555.00

Well the rummage sale is over for now (details on that in a separate post to come soon). As I was putting things out I pulled out any expired or broken items and set them aside so that they weren't in the sale. Some of them I will keep as I don't care if they are expired for my personal use, and some of them I put up for free on FB, others I tossed. I also went back through my entries and updated so that I know those items were disposed of and that is why they weren't sold.
I usually try to stay away from items that expire, especially medicine for this very reason, so most of these were probably free or tax only as I don't like to get medicine in case it does expire before I can sell it.
The good news is the items I put on FB for free went quickly so at least people are getting use out of them!
Kept:
Acne Free Brand Terminator Cream
AcneFree Oil-Free Acne Cleanser - Expired
Advil Travel Packs (2) - Expired
Anti-Diarrheal - Expired
Colgate Travel Packs (12) - Expired
Crest Be Inspired Toothpaste (1) - Expired
Crest Be Inspired (3 Joint) - Expired
Revlon Lipgloss (looked dried up in package, but once I opened it and moved the wand around a bit it is perfectly good to use so I will keep this)
Robitussin Medi-Soothers (4) - Expired
Zarbes Naturals Seasonal Allergy Relief (6) - Expired
Free on FB:
Accu-Check Nano Diabetic Meter - Expired
Almay Shadow Stick - End is broke off and I don't use eye makeup
Comfort Patches (6) - Expired
CVS Diabetic Test Strips (3) - Expired
Hemorroid Gel (2) - Expired
Hemorroid Ointment - Expired
Nicotine Patches (2 boxes) - Expired
Zegerid OTC - Expired
Tossed:
Elf Lipglass - Dried up

I'm a farmer and I made some sweet cash from my crops!

I had mentioned in previous posts that I had a major excess of zucchini from my garden. After trying lots of new recipes, shredding/freezing some for baking this winter and unsuccessfully trying to give away to friends and family (could only get rid of a few this way). I had about 7-8 BIG zucchini left and already have about 8 bags in my freezer for personal use so I don't need more myself. I decided to process the rest rather then letting it spoil. So I washed, peeled, chopped, shredded with food processor, measured into 2 cup serving sizes, bagged into freezer bags and labeled.
I put it up for sale on FB for $2.00 per 2 cup bag......I SOLD OUT! 35 bags (70 cups!) SOLD! So that is $70!!! Hoping the nice weather we had over the weekend will produce some more as I have several more people that put in orders for at least another 20 bags, but if not was still a very nice and quick $70! Only took me about 1 1/2 hrs to process all the zucchini, so a really nice hourly wage!! Also it was about $10 per zucchini!

Rummage sale is this coming weekend. I have Wed, Thurs off to finish up getting setup and we open Friday morning so I have Friday off as well. I have been advertising a lot on FB and have generated a lot of interest. Bad news is it is supposed to rainy and cold Friday and Saturday. So we are trying to set up as much as we can inside the garage to prepare, fingers crossed it at least doesn't rain. Not even sure what to think for a goal with our new location?
Little snowflakes are really falling into place for savings lately. We cashed out our dietbet win money to Paypal, we have a little over $400 there so I will cash that out to savings this week. I won a football pool last week, $60. Sold a few items when we were cleaning out the garage for $20, and another $34 for my buy/resell items on FB. Took in our coin jar and had $70 in that. All of these went into savings.
Current Balance $6,305.00
+$50.00 MO Payday to Our Savings
+$70.00 Coin
+$70.00 Zucchini Sales
+$30.00 FB Sales
+$60.00 Won Football Pool
Balance $6,585.00
Local Savings $2535.00
GC Savings $1380.00
Capital 360 Savings (US) $910.00
Capital 360 Savings (Mom Loan Payback Account)$505.00
Capital 360 Savings (Rental Deposit Account) $1255.00
Total Savings = $6,585.00
We used some of the rent money from our basement guy to catch up our 52 Week Challenge money and now we only have 3 weeks left! Weeks left to pay are 43, 44, and 45.
52 Week Challenge
Week 42 (10/16) $903 + (Weeks 46-52 are also paid already $343) Total = $1246
