In my state they have a rummage sale once a year that runs through about 100 miles of small towns. I had heard of it before but never gone. Now that I live in a small town closer to the rummage sale trail my Mom and I decided to check it out. We started with the town closet to mine, about 30 mins away....we were a little worried that we would only find duds and end up driving a lot....well we ended up only hitting that first small town! They had 30+ rummage sales! So we hit up most of them which took about 5 hrs and by then we were bushed so had lunch at the small town café and called it quits!

We found lots of items to resell, the big score was 20 little girl swim suits for .50 each! I put them up on FB right away and they have been selling like hot cakes for $3-$4 each! We already sold $34 worth (which only costs us $4.50!) and I have several more that should be picked up tomorrow. What a great turnaround! I also got a few pieces of adult clothing that were really nice for cheap and some kids books.

I found a fishing box with a lot of goodies in it for $5 for MO, so he was happy! Also a pair of DocMartens for me for $1.50!

I had 2, $5.00 EB that expired this weekend, so I hit up CVS while I was in town for some more Christmas festivities with my family. I was worried that I would have to use them on items that I didn't want/need, or on full price items, but I was very happy I found some deals!

First I noticed they had a lot of Christmas items at 75% off. I really didn't need any Christmas stuff (and a lot of the items left at this point are kind of junky), but I did find 3 evergreen pillar candles. I actually have 3 decorative candle holders in my Christmas decorations that I didn't put out this year because the previous candles I had had melted and become misshapen. So this was a great surprise! I also found a box of Christmas ornament hooks at 75% off, and I wasn't able to put all of my ornaments up this year since some were missing hooks so I grabbed those too. Those were the only Christmas items that I wanted, so then I tried to look for items to resell, but everything was already pretty cleaned out (mostly from my Mom a few days ago..lol) and they were already filling up the empty space with Valentines items.
