Yeah for Comps!

We got a comps letter from Hooters Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas today. I am very excited since we are going to Vegas again in August!
Here is what we got:
4 Free Nights
2 Nights for $9.99 each
4 Free Poolside Drinks
$100 in Free Play
8 Free Show tickets
20 Free wings

We are waiting to book our flights till they are a little cheaper. Right now they are $99 per person one way. We have seem them around $59 per person one way so we are gonna wait for awhile and see if a better deal comes along.

    We stayed at the Hooters Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last year. When we go to Vegas we usually play $10 at our first casino, get our free drink, and then win or lose walk to the next casino and do the same thing again. So we have never really gotten any comps before since we only play $10 at each place. But in the morning before we would leave for the day sometimes we would play at Hooters first and then the last day when we were waiting to leave for the airport we played there for hours. We didn't lose, actually last year we came out about $200 ahead after 5 days of gambling....we just play slow, $10 at a time and if we get the $10 up to $20 or higher we put that money in the "winner" pocket and will not play that again. That way we know we will be taking something home and will get to have some fun! We enjoyed Hooters, it is right off the strip (behind the Tropicana) and was reasonably priced with good service.

    Occasionally we pay blackjack or 3 card poker on the tables. But most of the time we play penny video slots. We like to play the ones with fun themes like Jackpot Party, All that Glitters, Wolf Run, etc. We usually bet .40 to .60 cents a spin....nothing too crazy. We also usually save some money for the end to bet $1.00 or so a spin to try to hit something bigger. But honestly the few "Big Wins" we have had have come betting less then $1.00 - We have won $1000 once, $500 once, and $200 - $400 probably about 10 times all only betting .40 cents!
