Happy Mistake!

January 26th, 2011 at 01:31 am

I was balancing my checkbook today and it kept coming up $406 off.....wth?? So after reviewing it for a little while I realized that I had made a deposit for $203 and had accidentally put it in the withdrawl column instead of the deposit column! So YEAH! Surprise $406 more in checking then we thought! Smile

I try to balance my checkbook often, and even though I good with money and numbers, I seem to make silly mistakes once in awhile. At least this time the mistake was in our favor!

What a nice surprise! What do you intend to do with your extra $406?

I've made that mistake a couple times...its a better mistake than the other way around. Enjoy!

$406...not small change! Congrats on your "windfall"!

AW can either equal Automatic Withdrawal or... um... Arithmetic Windfall. Smile I think the latter leads to a little more reason for celebration! (And at least it didn't go the other way... far better to have the insurance of being $400 ahead than $400 behind, right?)
