After I spent the weekend up at BFs house I came back home and then Monday morning he texted me that I had forgotten my bin of "For Sale" nail polishes at his house. He is coming down Monday for softball so he can just bring it down to me then....then a few hrs later I get a text "How much are you selling these for? I am going to try to sell some for you." HUH?? So I tell him, $3.00 each or 4 for $10....he texts me a short time later....he sold $40 worth....WHAT?! And then $50....and then $60....!!!! WOWO! So he sold 24 polishes, 6 of the 4 for $10 deals!
Then he came down that evening for softball and hands me $60! Yeah!!! Apparently his employees (lots of younger/HS age girls) were pretty excited about the polishes...I was a little worried that he would get in trouble for selling stuff at work, but apparently one of the people that bought some polishes was the owner of the store! So whoo hoo for that, and could he be any sweeter?? #bestbfever

So happy to finally find someone that appreciates me!
Also got 5 missed calls in a row and a drunk VM from XH last night.....so it's not too hard to move on anymore when he clearly still doesn't care to get help for his drinking. I am afraid he is going to be alone forever as alcoholic who can't have children is not a big selling point when looking for a date....but you can't help someone that won't help themselves, and I can't be in charge of him and his problems anymore. I need to look out for myself and my well being, he only brings me down. I have learned a lot from Al Anon, and BF is a wonderful help in healing as he also had a divorce where he felt alone for years and understands what it is like.
