My BF is a better shopper then me...........

So....I think I am a pretty bada** shopper....but my BF put me to shame yesterday...

His town has an Alco, which is going out of business (All Alcos are closing). He took this haul on their last day..

$582.76 worth of merchandise....he paid .83! YES! .83 cents TOTAL for alllll of this! He got 13 pairs of shorts, 5 pairs of sandals, 9 pairs of socks, 1 dress shirt and a couch cover. I am keeping 2 pairs of the shorts, the shirt and one pair of sandals. BF is keeping the couch cover. I will sell the rest for him. Looking at a profit of about $225.00 or so...WOW he sure made me look like an amateur...lol

*ETA - After seeing the comments I went back and added the breakdown! Yes I couldn't believe it either when he called me! I have the receipts but they are confusing to read because it just rang up the sale prices, not the original prices, but here is what it was.

9 of the shorts were $24.99
4 of the shorts were $34.00
Socks were $12.99 per pair
*ETA - Sold 3 prs of socks for a deal price of 3/$10.00 on FB on 11/2/15
Sandals were $14.99 per pair
Couch Seat Cover was $24.99 (I think)
Shirt was $12.99
*ETA - Sold 2 prs of shorts for $12.00 each on FB on 6/17/15
*ETA - Sold 1 pr of shorts for $10.00 on FB on 6/17/15
*ETA - Sold 1 pr of shorts for $8.00 on FB on 6/24/18
*ETA - Sold 1 pr of shorts for $8.00 on FB on 7/15/18

The only reason I know the original price of the items is because of the tags, the receipt reads like such:

Sandals $9.98
-$1.98 Item Discount
-$7.98 COB D D4
Final Price = .02!!
*ETA - Sold 1 for $5.00 on FB on 5/22/17

So everything came out to just pennies a piece....BF said everything was 99% off! His original total (he did 2 purchases) was $24 something, then they entered the discounts and told him he owed .24!! He said he saw someone with an overflowing cart pay $1.26!! If I was there you can guarantee I would have bought everything there!!

Here is the bottom of his second receipt where it says 99% off!

    Would love the breakdown, not that I doubt you/him. As Joan of the Arch said, what about the sales tax? Amazing deals though. Congrats on the bargains!

    I went back and added as much of a breakdown as I can decipher from the receipt. For sales tax, it shows he paid .05 total in sales tax.
