Caught up on the last 3 years of filing!

When I got remarried in 2015 I also moved to another town, and bought a new house, all basically at the same time.....filing took a back seat to staying on top of normal duties, unpacking, etc. and eventually got too unmanageable to catch up.

This last week I FINALLY tackled it and got all of my filing done for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. I got rid of a massive pile to shred, made new files for new categories (like Puppies!) and backfiled everything that wasn't for this year. Plus got everything together for this coming years taxes so we won't have to dig around for anything.

Feels so good to cross that off the ole "To Do" list!

    Petunia - I know right! It's actually been 21 months, but September will be 2 years! NUTSO!

    Time has flown by! You seem pretty organized to me with always posting your budget updates and FB sales who would have thought you had that much filing? Glad you got it all done. What's next on the list?

    SecretarySaving - Yes it is surprising! Which is why it was driving me crazy! LOL! It was all in a nice pile in my desk, so it wasn't spread all over or anything but still a pretty large stack. Next on the list is selling my clarinet from when I was in school. It has been sitting in the attic at my old house for 10 years so time to get it moved to someone that can use it and make some cash!

    Rob and Dido - Yes it feels wonderful to have that done, and now I will file every Monday, which should only be a few papers a week to keep from getting behind again!
