I’m new to your blog. Are you selling on Facebook marketplace? Is that basically like Craigslist where you need to meet the buyer in person to make the sale? I’m a little surprised that anyone would go on there to buy something like deodorant or mascara. It looks like you’re doing well with it though which is great.

This is great! I’ve been trying to sell items and it never works out.

Hey Disney Steve, welcome! Yes I sell on FB but it’s actually my own sales page that I made on FB and I just added my regular customers on there, so it’s not a public page. I have found a nice little niche for myself because I live in a very small town and there are no retail stores. The nearest Walmart or Target is over an hr away. So I coupon and buy clearance and sell tons here since there is no where else to shop, plus I sell for less then Walmart.

Amber - I used to live in a bigger city and I didn’t get many sales on FB. Too many flakes that wouldn’t show up and too much competition. Small town is much easier to do sales in!

That's great. With limited local retail options and a long trip to get to the major stores, you are both providing a service and creating a business opportunity for yourself. Even if your prices were a bit higher, once people factor in the cost of driving to Walmart, it makes more sense to buy from you. I love it.
