The $20K Challenge was just trying to get to a "comfortable" savings mark. I think $20K in liquid savings is ideal for us to cover emergency fund, open rentals, medical, taxes, etc. So I try to keep savings as close to the $20K mark as I can. We usually fluctuate from $15K-$20K with saving up and then big bills come in and the pattern repeats. Would love if we could get to like $25K and then fluctuate from $20K-$25K with the ups and downs.
